I must say…I am a champion goal setter. I can sit and set hundreds of goals about what I’d like to do and where I’d like to be in 10 years time etc. The problem (you knew there had to be one right) usually comes when I try to follow them through. Once the novelty of a new goal wears off, I have difficulty maintaining my motivation. Everything starts to sloooooow down and eventually stop! I’m not saying that I’m a “Quitter”, but just more of a “Delayer” lol.
I never totally give up on my goals, but sometimes I just stop doing what I need to do. Either that or I get too distracted, forget and fall behind.
There are many things you can do to beat this problem and increase motivation like working with a partner/group, writing a journal and if you click –>here<– a wonderful sister wrote a whole article about it maasha Allaah.
