Our Journey as a family towards memorisation of the Qur'aan

Juz Reading Chart

Bismillah…

Assalaamu alaikum,

I pray that everyone is well, we ask Allah to grant you all good health and increase you all in His remembrance aameen.

This is a tick chart that we’re going to be using  to help monitor daily revision/reading.  At times we let the children get on with their reading just trusting that they are revising.  Its been fine for the most part but it’s never something that we like to do too much of.

As a child, there were times when I used to go up to my room and watch TV when parents thought I was doing my homework! I would do it eventually (sometimes late!)  but looking back, even then I would have appreciate the extra push to get it done before my  recreational time.  It taught me that it’s never good to just leave children completely to their own devices even when they seem like they are getting on with it, its nice to check in on them and makes things easier for them.  With the stress they already have with their school work, it can be another responsibility we relieve them of having to think about.

May Allah make it easy for us all to maintain what we learn and implement it and may Allah azza wa jalla accept these action from us aameen

  1. Nice post. There’s a digital version you can try to keep track of your child’s reading which you can get from the Google Play store if you’re an Android user:

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tazkiyatech.hifdhtracker

Although the app is primarily for a person to keep track of which parts of the Qur’an they intend to revise as part of their Hifdh revision I see no reason why it can’t be used for a person to keep track of which parts of the Qur’an they intend to read as part of their regular Qur’an reading.

  2. Ameen💕

Do you by any chance know any hafidhah network or whatsapp hifdh motivation groups for females that can be joined?
