Our Journey as a family towards memorisation of the Qur'aan

Bismillaah…

Assalaamu alaikum,

Isn’t it funny that sometimes, the closer you get to your goal, the more you  procrastinate, the more  distracted you become, the more problems you encounter etc

Sometimes it’s the Shaytaan trying to keep us away from doing good and sometimes, it’s an actual fear from within us of the unknown.  At times, we create fear of what will happen once we’ve completed our task.  Some find a type of security in the constant struggle towards getting what they want.  They’ve accepted it as part of their day-to-day routine.  So much so, they feel its become part of their identity and they can’t actually think past the finish point.  They just cant imagine what they’ll do next and it frightens them and they then,  delay that looming end to stay safe.

Without a doubt when it comes to delaying good deeds, it’s something we don’t want or need!

A quick fix for a situation like this is to remember the benefits or the reasons why you want to achieve your goal.

This is why we’ve decided to post up a daily reminder of the benefits of learning the Qur’aan.  Something special for anyone that is looking for some hifdh inspiration. We’ll be doing it for the next 30 days in shaa Allaah starting from tomorrow….no, I shouldnt delay it lol from today!

We hope that it can be of benefit to somebody that needs a boost in motivation especially if they feel it’s becoming hard.

Another thing that can help is to remember that every problem we encounter is an important part of the  journey, a lesson to be learned,  an obstacle to strengthen our will and an oppotunity to gain reward when we turn to Allaah and ask for His help to remove it from us.

I pray that Allaah make it easy for us and accept it from us all aameen

  1. Jk for this post. Feel like we’re going through the same so we’ll look fwd to your daily reminders iA.

    • Baarakallaahu feeki I’m looking forward to it too. It’s something I’ve seen a lot in students I’ve taught in the past so I really wanted to mention it. It’s definitely more challenging to fight a situation we create but so rewarding when we do Alhamdulillaah. May Allaah make it easy for you my dear sister. Please send me some reminders too if you can, that would be really nice *smiles *
