Our Journey as a family towards memorisation of the Qur'aan

MP3/CD Maker

Assalaamu alaikum,

I love to use the cds and tapes that repeat to teach you Qur’aan.  I put them on when my children are resting for bed and it helps them to learn the surahs without having to try maasha Allaah and they are relaxed which is important.  So far I have only found tapes like this going up to juz Qad Sami’.  I used to worry what will I do when they have finished this juz (if Allaah blesses us to get that far).   Then I found this site maasha Allaah what a blessing alhamdulillaah.

They have made an MP3 maker.  Basically you can take any ayah of the Qur’aan and repeat it as many times as you like.  You can also set it to leave a gap so you can repeat it like a real lesson and once you’ve est it the way you want it, you can turn it into an MP3 which can be put onto a CD or phone etc.

It’s such a relief to find this and I’ve finally mastered how to use it…..which took me a little while *smiles*

Oh…I forgot best of all it uses one of my favorite reciters ever maasha Allaah may Allaah bless him Mahmoud Khaleel Al Husary.  Learning with a reciter that observes the rules of tajweed is so important.  If I work out how to do it, I’ll post up an example of something I made on it in-shaa Allaah.

Anyway enough from me….heres  the link

I enjoy your blog and find it inspirational as I am helping my children with their tafeedh program also.

I downloaded this program and have no idea how to use it for making mp3’s? And I cannot find any instructions on the website either. Would you please explain how to use it? JAK. ASA.

    aha. found the help manual!

    • wa alaikumus salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu Ayesha,
baarakallaahu feeki I really do appreciate your comments and I pray that Allah makes you and your childrens journey easy for you and that He make them righteous and the coolness of your eyes. Its funny as you were writing the message I was using the MP3 maker. I’m glad you found the instructions if you need to ask anything about it I’m here, but having said that I never used it to make a CD before I use realplayer for that.

  3. I’d just advise you to purchase the digital Quran as it does the same thing…I have found it very beneficial Mashaa’Allah.

    • Thank you for your advice, and for reading too baarakallaahu feekum. I have a question if you dont mind, with the digital mushaf are you able to copy files from it onto different formats and does the one you have alter the speed?
Its something I’d definetely consider. I think what initally put me off was the original cost and the limited choice of recitors but alhamdulillaah that has changed now.
